For the end time we were lucky to stay in this beautiful house. 10 days long, Karin and Peter, being able to enjoy a wonderful holiday together with our and grandchild Louise.
Great to know that the house cat Fujita got the necessary attachment and love :) from us all.

It was a truly exceptional vacation, for which we are very grateful to the hosts!
The house is beautifully furnished, clean, and well-maintained – it doesn’t feel like a typical holiday home but rather a well-equipped residence for year-round living. Every detail and appliance is perfectly thought out and well-matched. If needed, a dedicated team takes care of the property.
A lovely pool, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. The area is peaceful – close to the town center for shopping and dining, yet far enough to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

La Maison du Soleil is a dream destination: tranquility, a house with all comfort like home, nice company of two lovely cats. Three terraces, one for the morning, one for the afternoon and one for the evening. A beatiful swimmingpool with a cosy poolhouse. This must be the definition of sweet France!! Although we are back home from our holiday for a few weeks already, we keep of thinking about our vacation spent at your home in Draguignan. The feeling we had was as of being “at home away from home”. We felt your hospitality and your “heart” on every square centimeter of the villa and the garden. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful living rooms (with large flat TVs), bedrooms for at least 6 people, bathrooms, towels, etc., etc., two large tables in the garden, grill, fish dimples, pool with sun beds and pool towels…The residence you have with its woods and forests surrounding and cicadas giving a concert every evening is a place where we want to come back soon.

Excellent stay!
The house is located in a quiet place, very large enclosed garden. The owner of the place very friendly and kindly.
Impeccable cleanliness of the house, very pleasant swimming pool (5x2 sq. m.) with a beautiful wooden terrace accompanied by numerous deckchairs to enjoy the sun.
Air conditioning throughout the house with all the necessary equipment.

We had a perfect holiday at Maison du Soleil which we highly recommend! The garden is magnificent, full of small spaces to relax, lulled by the song of the cicadas. Everything you need for a great vacation is in this house: the plancha, good bedding, several shaded terraces, hammocks, an aperitif corner by the pool. The hosts are particularly welcoming and available. You can feel how important it is to them that you have the best possible stay. Thank you for everything!

We have been to this lovely house end of July and I would like to give some comments for future guests.
First of all: the pictures ... show exactly what you get.....good!
LOCATION:
At the "edge" of Draguignan (VAR), up a little hill, in a very quiet urbanisation. Not difficult to find, if you have a navi and the correct address (which you will get of course). Surrounded by a lot of trees (very very high ones...) - not possible for strangers to 'have a look', we found that fantastic.
...
THE HOUSE itself is older, but inside it is quite new and renovated. Lovely decorated, antique furniture mixed with modern spots. It has two floors, to mention: THE UPPER FLOOR has a bathroom, two small bedrooms (no aircon, but strong ventilators) and a large living room with aircon. Very nice!!!
THE LOWER FLOOR has a nice bedroom (with aircon), a big living room with (aircon) and a big dining table, we loved that place to cool down, play card and have nice dinners or small lunches.
The kitchen is very functional, has everything one needs ..., a washer and a big fridge, but no aircon... but that was ok for us. Also 1 toilet and another bathroom.
OUTSIDE: tons of seating areas with tables, chairs, umbrellas and loungers around the house, you will find shadow, whenever you like.
What we enjoyed most in hot July was THE POOLDECK:
a lovely (not too big pool), surrounded by flowers, plants and a nice wooden deck (sometimes too hot barefeed, but therefore flipflops are in invented :)
Enough deckchairs, little tables, loungers and umbrellas and a small, covered seating area.
THE GROUNDS around the house are very big and very special in our view, never rented a house with so many flowers, different plants and a small garden with vegetables (organic) - we were allowed to pick some and eat - nice!
If you have kids, they will enjoy the ground for a round of boule or badminton or just run around.
SHOPPING (food) is no problem, take the car and drive for about 8 to 10 minutes. Easy and great variety.

RESTAURANT:
oh well, we normally eat out a lot in vacation, but this time it was different due to Covid19. We simply were not in the mood to see crowed places.....so we tried 1 restaurant in Draguigan, which was perfect and direct hit.
...
Finally: we enjoyed every minute of our 7 days in Draguignan.
It was worth the long trip and we might return one day.

A gorgeous house with lots of things to see and do. At easy driving distance from the Gorge du Verdon, Nice, Monte Carlo, Aix en Provence, Marseille and the Lavendel fields, we needed more time to see it all. The house has a nice pool deck, and it's just great to come 'home' after a whole day of activities and relax in the late afternoon at the pool deck.

A glorious space, with beautiful interior design and a luxurious outside patio, for a family vacation in Provence. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped, the beds are extremely comfortable and everything was impeccably clean. The garden and pool are everything you could wish for. The pictures give you a clear idea of how amazing it is, but when you step inside and outside in the garden you fall in love.
Everything was well set up upon arrival, and it was a perfect surrounding to spend a week at the beginning of July. Thanks for the wine you have placed in the basket with local products.
We had a wonderful stay in the Provence. The house is located very well and everything is very close. The owners also gave us great suggestions for restaurants, activities and sights.
We hope to be back next year and we won’t feel any need to look elsewhere for a place to stay! We couldn’t have been happier and we’ve already recommended this home to several friends. I highly recommend "La Maison du Soleil"

A pleasant domain of soothing nature for those seeking calm & peace to relax.
As many hiding places as you need for a game of hide-and-seek, pleasant spot to isolate yourself for some reading time as well as many collective spaces for quality friend/family time, in the sweetness of the long summer evenings!
Practical and well equipped, tastefully decorated, the villa is ideally located to best enjoy everything the region has to offer.
